According to EASA Air Ops regulation as specified in AMC3 NCC.GEN.131(b)(2) Flight crew members should be given specific training on the use of the EFB system before it is operationally used.

This Training is designed to fulfill the requirements for the use of EFB including Jeppesen Mobile FD application according AMC3 NCC.GEN.131(b)(2).
